Got a call from someone pretending to be TalkTalk, saying my service would be cut off today. It was an automated voice telling me to press 1 to talk to TalkTalk. They’re faking their phone number to match random real numbers, which probably helps them get through to folks who reject hidden or strange foreign numbers. That way, they can ring you, but if you try to call back the number starting with 4471, it just won’t go through. Complete scam!
