He went on like I was some kinda “f#@%*£g b~$^”, which was totally uncalled for.

This guy rang up claiming to be from BT, saying he spotted my broadband wasn't running as fast as it should and wanted me near the router so he could fix it. When I joked with the bloke, who had a really thick Indian accent, about skipping the faff and just handing over my bank info right then, he got proper offended like I was being a right pain or something.
