I received a rather dodgy call professing to be from BT, warning me about an internet shutdown - absolutely untrue! When I decided to ring them back to confront this scam, I was met with a foreign accent responding, who just laughed off my threat to involve the police. Their cheeky remark was something like, "I don't think so!" Just to clarify, I’m not even a BT customer!
