I picked up and a guy just said hello before the call suddenly cut off.

I picked up the call, and as I let out an exasperated sigh, I mentioned that I had no intention of downloading his dubious 'virus scanner'. He straightaway retorted with, 'Ah, so you're onto the scam, are you?' and then took it a step further by threatening to come and 'take me out', claiming he’d shoot me right in the face. Quite the tough talker, isn’t he?

Totally a scam call. These numbers need to be flagged as risky since the people behind them are just trying to trick you out of your money!

Requested £200 to be removed from their roster! As if that would happen...

Got a call but no one spoke on the other end, really odd.

Got a call from a bloke with what sounded like an Indian accent, said his name was John and he worked for Microsoft. He claimed there was something wrong with my computer. I told him I didn’t own one and called him a scammer. He got really angry and started yelling awful swear words at me. I told him I had his number saved and that I was going to report him, then I hung up.

Got a call from this number earlier and I didn’t pick up. This isn’t the first time, and whenever I’ve asked who's calling before, the bloke on the other end just started getting rude and shouting. Real unpleasant experience.

On 29th April 2016 at about 1:56 pm, I got a call from this guy speaking with an Indian accent. Couldn't catch everything he was saying, but it ended with something about "your computer," so I just hung up. Looks like another one of those usual scams popping up again.

13.56 29/04/2016 - I received a call from a chap with an Indian accent. The conversation was rather muddled, but it seemed to revolve around "your computer". Looks like the old scam has resurfaced once more. I decided to terminate the call.

I swear these annoying calls just never stop! I don’t see the point of being signed up on the DNC list if these morons are still managing to ring me ????

Some bloke from India rang saying there was an issue with my PC. I just told him I don’t own one and ended the call straight away.

Just received a call from a chap with an Indian accent who claimed he was calling about some Windows issue with my PC. I told him quite firmly that I wasn't experiencing any problems and promptly hung up.

Absolutely fed up with these pesky calls. They rang me, only to hang up without saying a word!

These fraudsters rang up and my missus took the call, buying into their story about working for Microsoft. She then said, "My husband's into computers," and handed the phone over to me. I played along, going, "Really? You know Hank Smithstein from software? He's a friend of mine," which was a total fib - I’m retired and don't work in tech. Suddenly, they vanished and we didn’t hear from them again for nearly a year. Today, they tried again, but I’ve got a call blocker now, so no chance of them getting through.

I received a call claiming there was an issue with my Windows system and insisted that I turn on my computer. I informed them that I didn’t actually have a computer, and promptly, they cut the line.

Today, just after half past one, I received a call on my home phone from a gentleman with an accent I couldn’t quite place. He claimed to have urgent information regarding an issue with my computer. Honestly, I’m fed up with these sorts of calls; I've experienced them far too many times. It’s clearly a scam, and I had no hesitation in hanging up.

I got a call from someone who said they were with the Microsoft Windows tech team. Since I knew Microsoft doesn’t make calls like that out of the blue, I just replied “Yeah, right!” and ended the call. Honestly, these scammers aren’t just annoying and hiding behind fake names, they’re actually a real threat to our safety and peace of mind. I’m definitely flagging this number as something risky.

Some bloke called Peter claiming my windows computer was acting up. I told him straight away I don't own one. Then he switched to saying it was my laptop that was the problem. I said I don't got a laptop either. Finally, I mentioned I don't even have a phone. He said sorry and ended the call. That was that!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft's technical support. To my utter shock, he then proceeded to make an inappropriate suggestion! I'm absolutely certain that Microsoft never reaches out unless you’ve asked them to.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from the Windows tech support, saying there was odd stuff going on with my PC. Told them that’s weird cos I don’t even own a Windows machine. Ended the call then. It’s no use being on the TPF list either, they don’t deal with scams. The voice was identical to an earlier call, and that person actually swore at me and hung up. Trying to get the police involved is pointless since they say they can’t do anything until money’s been lost.
