Don't fall for the supposed Amazon Prime offer at £39.99 - it's a total SCAM. Amazon would never reach out like this. I read on Which that if you press 1 to talk to someone, that's when they try to get your bank info. Best thing you can do is just hang up immediately.

Got a robo call supposedly from Amazon sayin there’s a payment of £39.99 going to come out for my prime subscription. I ignored the bit about pressing 1 cos I know my membership doesn’t renew ‘til June. Seems dodgy, like a spam call. Tried looking up the number but couldn’t find anything else on it.
