Yesterday I got a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be Derek at Microsoft, saying there was a problem with my computer. I told him he’d got the wrong number and he just hung up on me. Honestly, these scams have been going round since the 90s and 2000s - how is this still happening? If Microsoft ever did call you, which they don’t, you'd probably be stuck on hold for hours trying to get through yourself!

This woman with a really American accent called me up. She asked if anyone else in the house uses our computer as well. Claimed she was from Microsoft or something like that. Yeah right, as if!

Got a ring from 01287660245 but as soon as I picked up, the line just went dead. Feels like one of those dodgy scam calls to me.

Been getting calls from what says BT, kept going on even after I asked them to take my number off their list. This is the fifth time in two days and they keep switching up the numbers. Had to block this last one.
