I keep getting loads of calls from these types. I reckon they rent or switch the lines around a bunch of different groups using hundreds of numbers, so you end up getting calls from maybe six different ones, with some repeating. Probably some Indian call centres or scammy phishing people. Trying to block them feels pointless - they’re just wasting your time anyway.

Right after, I got a voicemail, and from what I’ve seen before, those pesky scammers usually leave a message something like "don’t worry, we’ll call again". The problem is, you might miss a genuine call from someone important cos these bloody nuisances keep hogging the line! Honestly, they’re the worst.

Spoke with a strong accent, wasn't clear which company he was from, said his name was Martin and it was his birthday or something. Thanks for being polite tho, he tried to ask me a couple questions but kept cutting me off.
