Yet another one of these annoying daily numbers has been ringing nonstop this week. Seriously, just disappear and maybe try doing something positive for someone or help out the environment instead.

this just happened to me too. i didn’t press any buttons, just ended the call straight away. but now im a bit worried if anyone else might have hit 1 and got caught up in some scam or ended up with charges or a dodgy person on the line. quite concerned for anyone who might have been tricked.

Got a call from some scammers again, this time spouting some recorded message about “your (internet provider’s name) is gonna be cut off, press 1 to fix it”. Classic rubbish about a router problem, just another trick to sneak into your network. Don’t fall for it!

Got one of those fake recorded calls as well. rang up my internet company just to be sure, they said everything was fine, 100% a scam.
