I got a call from a recorded voice saying it was from BT’s technical team and told me to press 1 to talk to someone or my internet would be cut off. I just hung up and rang BT myself, and they told me it was a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying they needed to check if I was by the computer to 'fix' a supposed problem with my router. Obviously, I told them to jog on, but kept it polite. Classic scam move!
