I received a call from this number, but the connection was rather poor - I inquired whether it was a cold call and they claimed it wasn’t, mentioning something about a 'PPA refund' (or so I think; the line was quite fuzzy). When I said no, they cheekily asked, "Don't you fancy getting your hard-earned cash back?" At that point, I firmly declined again and terminated the call. I wasn’t entirely convinced it wasn’t something genuine, but upon searching online, the only information I could dig up regarding PPAs related to NHS prescription refunds. Given that I haven’t signed up for anything of that sort, it certainly seems to be a scam.

This leads me to suspect it could be a scam.
