I got a call from 01286890427 just before one this afternoon. There was this robotic voice message on my answerphone telling me I supposedly had a warrant for arrest. It asked me to contact my case handler on a number that started with 0203 (02032890158), which when I checked seemed pretty dodgy. The first number is from Caernarfon, Wales, but the other’s listed in London. Definitely felt fishy, and they claimed it was from the HMRC or something like that.
