I received a call that claimed to be from Amazon, asserting that my account had been compromised. As soon as I heard that, I hung up immediately. It struck me as an obvious scam designed to coax you into pressing a number, probably leading to some extortionate call charges! Better safe than sorry, I reckon.

Got a call around 11:18 today from a number claiming to be Amazon Prime. The recorded voice said my subscription was up for renewal and told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel. Problem is, I dont actually have an Amazon Prime account. Just a heads up, dont ever share your personal info with unsolicited calls like this!
