Got a recorded call claiming to be from BT, but we’ve never had their broadband. The message said they’d cut off our internet unless we hit a button to talk to their “tech team”. I reckon it either racks up a crazy phone bill by sending you to a premium line or it’s just some dodgy person pretending to be BT, trying to nick your bank info or push some rubbish on you. Definitely a scam!
