I received a call from someone with a foreign accent, sounded like a chap who was definitely reciting something off a piece of paper. He was prattling on about a potential refund from Sky due to an overcharge on my bill and kept asking for my personal details. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

I picked up and all was silent on the line but I could tell from the noise in the background there was a lot going on, like a hectic call centre. Pretty sure it was just a spam call.

Got a call from someone who seemed like they weren’t local, sounded like they were reading from a script. They said I was due a refund from Sky and asked me to confirm my name and birthday. Problem is, I don’t even have Sky! So I pretended to go along with it but wouldn’t give them any info. They hung up pretty quick after that. Total scam, no doubt.
