Got a call from some robot saying it was from BT’s tech team, saying my IP got hacked by someone abroad. I pressed 1 to continue and then a US voice came on saying I should wait while they connect me to an agent. Next up, a guy with an Asian-English accent answered, saying he was with BT Openreach. I asked why a company that only deals wholesale would ring a regular person, and he just cut the call. Pretty clear this was a scam or some phishing attempt.
