Got a call from this number around 1.30 pm, some recorded voice saying “this is BT, your IP address has been hacked, press 1 to speak to BT support.” The message just kept looping over and over which was really annoying. Tried to look up the number online but couldn’t find a thing. So, I decided to call back since it didn’t look like a premium rate number. But the number wasn’t even recognised when I did! Strange.

I received a call around half past one in the afternoon, and it was a recorded voicemail saying, “This is BT, your IP address has been compromised; please press 1 to speak with BT support.” The message just recycled itself, endlessly. I couldn’t find any info about the number online, so I decided to ring back since it wasn’t a premium rate line. However, the number turned out to be unidentifiable!
