Got a call from this number on October 4th. A man with an Indian accent, calling himself "James," claimed to be from the NHS. He already had my name, address, and information about my COVID vaccines. He said he’d send me an official letter to prove I’d been jabbed, in case I ever needed it. Seemed legit at first, but then he asked if I had life insurance, saying it was necessary for the letter. That made me suspicious, so I told him that info wasn’t needed. He hung up straight away. Reckon it’s a scam for sure.

I didn’t pick up because of this, then I got three calls from withheld numbers right after. There was also another call from a number that looked pretty similar, all coming pretty close together.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming to be from the NHS. He somehow knew I was jabbed twice already. Asked if my arm was hurting and how long it had been like that. He also asked if I got a covid passport with a barcode, I said no. He told me it should arrive in the post soon. Didn’t say my address though and wouldn’t have if he asked. Then he questioned me about my life insurance, I said I didn’t have any. Also asked if everyone in my family had been vaccinated. Strange call!

That would be okay if it wasn’t for their very first question: “Have you been jabbed?” When I told them I thought the NHS would already know that info, they said it was just for verification. Someone rang me saying they were from the Manchester CCG to check my NHS info. They insisted they only had some basic details about me, but then began talking about health insurance. I was suspicious and told them straight away I wasn't giving any bank info! They claimed they only knew minimal info, but when I asked my postcode, they gave me an old one... I haven't lived there for over two decades. If it was a true NHS caller, they’d have my current address. As soon as I questioned this, the person hung up sharpish.
