i got a call from a woman who sounded Indian and she said she’d put some kind of call blocker on my phone, claiming i wouldn’t get any annoying calls by the next day. I mentioned ive already got a similar setup through BT and asked if hers was better. I told her it was fine, “thanks, it does the job, and you’ll see if you call me back.” not too surprising, i ended up blocking her number straight away.

I got a call from someone with a strong Asian accent and there was loads of background noise. They said my BT internet was going to be turned off for a few hours because of some suspicious software they claimed I’d downloaded. Then they started asking me to turn something on my device, but I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call claiming to be BT, saying my router had been hacked. Sounded a bit dodgy to me, so I didn’t give out any info. Might just be some scam trying to get in. Better to be safe than sorry!
