I received a call from this number, initially greeted with a recorded message purporting to be from TalkTalk, warning me that my broadband service was poised for disconnection on a personal line. They had the audacity to present options-press 1 to confirm the disconnection or 2 to chat with a so-called engineer. Having encountered this type of scam on multiple occasions, I informed the chap on the line that I recognised it as a fraudulent call, and lo and behold, he promptly ended the conversation. Quite the shocker, wasn't it?
