I got this automated call saying my Amazon Prime subscription is going to renew for £39.99. It told me to talk to an operator if I didn't want to continue. The weirdest thing is, I don't even have an Amazon Prime account! Didn't hesitate to block the number straight away.

Got a recorded call from a woman with an American accent claiming I’d been charged £39.95 for Amazon Prime. The message said if I wanted to cancel or confirm, I should press 1 to speak to Amazon. This was just one of a dozen calls I’ve received on various numbers, all of which I’ve blocked. Looks like they’re using loads of different numbers, all of them obviously scams because I’ve never signed up for Amazon Prime.
