Had a call on my internet line from a number saying it was ‘today’. They gave me option 1 to chat with BT and option 2 to cut off internet, but no voicemail was left. They also said something about my internet being hacked or something dodgy going on. Felt a bit scammy to me.

Received a rather peculiar voicemail featuring an automated American voice insisting that my internet service is going to be cut off. It was quite the surprise! The options provided were to either speak with BT or to sever my internet connection at once, which made me raise an eyebrow. I suspect the initial part of the message-before it recorded- mentioned something about my broadband being at risk. How odd!
