In recent weeks, I've received numerous calls from this particular number. During one occasion, it appeared to be an actual human on the line, but on the latest call, it was just an automated message. Each time, they insisted that my phone line had been somehow compromised by some foreign entity (the exact term eludes me at the moment). They claimed to represent the BT Technical Office and urged me to press 1 to speak with a technician. However, I chose to simply hang up instead.
