I picked up the phone a few hours back after receiving a call from a woman who had a thick Nigerian accent. She was adamant that I had called her earlier in the day, despite my protests. Today I’ve been getting nonstop calls on both my mobile and home phone from loads of different numbers, often from folks with Indian accents, this one included. When I picked up one call and asked where they were ringing from - I do this every time so I can have a little rant about how awful it is they enjoy disrupting people’s lives - the person just told me to shove off, twice, before slamming the phone down.

These cheeky scammers are at it again. Someone already flagged them, and I say we all keep reporting these fraudsters. The best chance we got to put an end to their tricks is by flooding the police with complaints. Once they get swamped, they’ll have no choice but to take action.

Then he asked me to pay £10 to get my info deleted from his system. I hung up, but he rang me back twice more, each time from a different number. Proper dodgy!
