Received a call from a chap claiming to be Ben, insisting he could help me cut down on my phone expenses due to numerous complaints about exorbitant charges. I mentioned that I was quite satisfied with my current plan, and then he asked me to wait while he connected me to his manager. Got a call from some bloke in India claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. I kept saying I wasn’t interested but the guy was so pushy and then just abruptly ended the call. Before that, I'd been dealing with loads of dodgy numbers bouncing me around, promising to sort out my contracts or pay me off. Proper annoying and a total waste of time! Absolutely winds me up!

Had a quick chat with someone calling himself “Alexander” or “Christopher”, saying he was from Carphone Warehouse. But from what I’ve read in other reviews, it’s often 02 or another mobile company they pull out of thin air when they ring you. He switched his name a couple of times during the call, and honestly, his accent didn’t seem to match the place he claimed to be calling from. I doubt many customer service folks in Cirencester sound that off! You could hear other voices in the background too, like he was sitting in some dodgy call centre. If they ring you, just mess about a bit with them - it’s actually quite entertaining and might help get you off their call list. Bottom line: about as trustworthy as a politician on election day.

so these people phoned me tryin to sell a samsung note 20, said it was £22 a month for two years with all you can use texts, calls, data plus 1000 mins internationnal calls. they mentioned I could send the phone back for free within about 15 days if I wasn't happy.
