I had a call from this number this morning (Hertfordshire), which I didn't answer. Called it back this evening and a revised recorded message with an American-sounding woman said, "Welcome to energy department. Press 1 to speak to an agent," which I did and the same message looped around again. I've blocked the number for obvious reasons!

Got a voicemail full of just static and nonsense. When I rang back, a woman with a North American accent said, “This is the energy department, press 1 to talk to an advisor.” But when I hit 1, it just played the same message over again. Definitely seems like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a third ring from the same number today. Didn’t pick up. When I checked, there was a voicemail but it was totally silent and went on for like 20 seconds. Sounds dodgy to me. Added the number to my block list once more.
