Got a call today claiming to sort out our nuisance calls, but since it felt like just another nuisance call, we ended the call straight away. Now that number’s blocked.

Got a call from someone called Martin, said he was calling from a call centre. The number has shown up loads of times before and usually its just silent ringing. He tried to tell me he was from the telephone preference service, but come on, it clearly doesn’t do any good if they’re still cold calling!

They actually had my name and my postcode, which was a bit unsettling. But the moment I asked who they were, they just ended the call straight away.
