I got a voicemail saying my Amazon Prime subscription was going to be renewed and money taken from my bank, telling me I could keep enjoying Prime benefits. Since I’ve never signed up for Amazon Prime, I reached out through their official website to check if I was actually a member. The Amazon rep confirmed I’m not subscribed and won’t be charged, but they had no idea where the call came from and thought it was probably a scam. It seems suspicious to me - maybe they want you to call back and charge you silly rates for the privilege? Seems dodgy, so watch out!
