I received a voicemail claiming that a sum of £600 had been deducted from our credit card account. It instructed me to press 1 to confirm the payment. It raised a few eyebrows, really-how did they even know I was the one who picked up, and the fact that it was such a neat figure just screams dodgy. Naturally, I hung up and tried ringing the number back, but surprise, surprise-it’s a dead end!
