On Friday the 6th of December around 19 in the morning, my landline rang out of nowhere, which was odd as I wasn't waiting on any calls from Suffolk. I picked up quickly because the number showing on the screen was totally unfamiliar and a bit dodgy. There was a short pause after I said my number back, then suddenly the dial tone came through. Turns out someone else must've got in on their end just before I did, cause my line dropped off instantly. Lucky really, sounded like it would've been one of those annoying scam calls for sure.

Got a call on my landline early Fri 6 Dec morning. Wasn't waiting for anyone from Suffolk or anywhere near. Picked up pretty quick since the number was strange, but then there was a short silence. I said my number out loud, then suddenly got a dial tone. Guess someone else picked up on a multi-line just a fraction before me because the call cut off. Honestly, I’m relieved - sounds like it would've been one of those dodgy scam calls.
