Got a robotic call supposedly from BT, sounded like a woman warning me that my internet had been hacked locally and to press 1 for security checks. Pure scam, nothing to do with BT. I didn’t press anything, but it’s probably a pricey number. I don’t get why BT sells these phone number blocks to firms that then lease them out to scammers. Surely there’s a way to stop this nonsense.
