Today I got a call from 01284 766118, which is meant to be from Bury St. Edmund’s. The person on the other end claimed they were calling on behalf of EE. But the moment I told them “stop, you’re a scammer,” they hung up right away. That just made me trust my gut feeling even more. If it really was EE, they’d have backed it up or said more to prove it. I’ve decided to block the number now.
