There was a long silence and I was just about to end the call when I heard a kind of crackly voice with a british accent. She said something about BT warning me that my IP address had been hacked by someone overseas. The call quality was really bad and sounded like a dodgy recording. I’d come across this phone message on a few other numbers before, so really, I shouldn’t have bothered picking up in the first place!
