I just got a couple of calls, one claiming to be from Mastercard and the other from Visa Secure. Both said £600 had been taken from my account and told me to press 1. Definitely not something I'm going to do. Both were robotic voices. It’s scary for sure, but don’t let these scammers intimidate you. If you’re feeling worried, I'd recommend contacting your bank, but double-check the line’s secure before you ring them. Don’t give these dodgy callers any response. Seems like the banks could step up their game to block these fraudsters better.

I've received calls from this number on two occasions now. An automated woman's voice, purporting to be from Visa, informs me of a supposed £600 charge and prompts me to press 1 if I wish to cancel it. Just a word of warning: don't engage by pressing 1, as this is obviously a scam.
