I had a rather curious encounter with a woman who purported to be from BT. She mentioned that my IP address was being accessed by someone overseas. When I probed further, confessing that I attempted to return her call only to find the number was non-existent, she abruptly ended the call. I couldn't help but wonder why BT would reach out when they don't even provide my services! Quite a peculiar situation, I must say.

Got a call from 01284367439 the other day. First there was just silence, then a lady said ‘goodbye’ and hung up. Feels like they’re trying to check if the number’s active or something. Such a pain!

I got a call from a number and some person with an Asian accent said she was from BT about my internet. I hung up straight away and tried ringing back but the number wasn’t even working anymore. Very dodgy if you ask me.
