I received a rather concerning phone call claiming that my BT line had been compromised. They instructed me to press 1. When I did, a voice responded with, “Cheers for calling BT, how may I assist you?” I explained that they had initiated the call, but the woman abruptly cut the line. Absolutely baffling! I’ll definitely be contacting BT to sort this out.
