Got a call from an American woman’s recorded voice telling me to renew my Amazon Prime yearly subscription. It said if I didn’t recognise the charge or had questions I should press 1 to chat with a Prime advisor. Since I don’t even have Amazon Prime, it’s clearly a scam attempt. I just went ahead and blocked the number straight away.

Someone called saying my Amazon account was hacked, but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. They were calling me out of the blue and kept insisting there was suspicious activity on my account. Definitely seemed fishy to me.
