Got a robo call claiming to be BT tech support saying my internet was hacked - funny thing is, BT’s not even my provider. The automated message was full of terrible grammar, gave me two options: fix the issue or disconnect. I hit option 2 just to see what happens 😈. Then some American-accented voice asked me to hold. Eventually, a man with an Asian accent came on - I told him I want to cancel my internet, he said there’d be a £20 fee. I asked how to pay, but he just spoke in his own language and then hung up. Classic scam!
