The message claimed that my Amazon account had been hacked and that I’d unwittingly subscribed to Amazon Prime. It urged me to press "one" on my keypad to connect with a representative who would assist me with the matter. Just prior to this, I received another call from a different number, which delivered precisely the same spiel.
