Definitely a scam going on here. They never bother leaving a voicemail, and the number looks dodgy. My local area code is 01283, but there’s no such thing as numbers starting with 883 after that. I reckon it’s one of those tricksters who changes their caller ID to match the local area, hoping folks will answer because it looks like it’s from nearby.
