Rather than just saying I ain’t got any debts, I let them think they’ve found someone ripe to scam. I tell them I owe loads and could use their help. When they ask who, I mention dodgy dealers, bent cops, pimps and whatever daft stuff pops into my head. It’s silly I know, but they deserve it given how rude and pushy they are. If you want a laugh, email me at shak7910 and I’ll show you a bit of how I waste their time. Honestly, it’s proper satisfying to hear how irritated they get when they realise they’ve been had.

Mostly silent calls from this number, but when I didn't pick up, I got an automated voicemail saying all agents are busy and to call back later. Feels dodgy for sure, had loads of spammy silent rings from them before.

Yesterday I got rung twice by what seemed like dodgy calls. I ended it straight away, thinking it was a scam. After the first one, I blocked the number, but then another call came through from a number just a bit different, so I blocked that too. Isn't there any way to track down these scammers and take action? Loads of folks my age aren’t as clued up about tech and phone safety as I am.
