Every few weeks, like clockwork, these calls keep popping up. I’ve asked them multiple times to remove me from their calling list, but nothing changes. I even mentioned that under GDPR they’re not allowed to keep my number or info since I never gave permission. Didn’t make a difference. Then I let them know I’m on the TPS register, so they have no business ringing me. Still no luck.

I answered a call that turned out to be a pre-recorded message ominously stating that a hefty sum of cash was being transferred from my bank account-something that certainly wasn’t the case! In the midst of my surprise, I clumsily dropped the phone, which makes me wonder if I inadvertently pressed something on the keypad to confirm or deny it.
