Got a robocall warning me my internet would be cut off at midnight unless I pressed a button to stay connected. I hung up and tried calling back, but the line was just dead. Then, about an hour later, I got a call from a withheld number. The person said they were from an engineering firm working with TalkTalk. I told them I’d already checked with TalkTalk and that official messages never come through automated calls, so I suspected it was a scam. As soon as I said that, he just ended the call.
