Got a call from 01283 559181 - some automated message about a credit card transaction, sounded like a £600 transfer to Western Union or something. Then a bloke came on to confirm the details. I asked him which card he was talking about cos I have more than one Visa debit card, and he eventually said “Santander,” which I haven’t used in ages. Told him he must be wrong, and the line just went dead. I hung up right away and blocked the number. It does ring through but I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of scam.
