I picked up the call, but as soon as I did, they just ended it straight away!

I got a call from a woman with a weird American accent, sounded foreign, and she knew my name and postcode, talking about a 'windows account' thing. When I said yeah, I have a laptop, she started warning me I was getting hacked or something. I told her it was complete rubbish and ended the call. She sounded like she was just reading from a script, sounded kinda robotic too. Definitely a scam, I blocked the number instantly!

Got two calls while my phone was on silent, so I didn’t pick up. Plus, I’m using a Mac, so I wasn’t gonna answer even if I heard it. Bit of a missed chance there!

Someone rang me up saying they were from Windows and told me my computer had a virus and was hacked. It sounded dodgy to me.
