So I got a call from some bloke claiming to be from BT, saying my broadband security needed an urgent update and I’d have to visit a website for the changes… absolute muppets! The number 01289885544 is linked to another one, 01283514012, who called me earlier with a recorded message warning me that my BT internet would get cut off because of security problems. Total scam artists!
