I got a recorded message from a voice that sounded American, saying it was from my internet provider and that my service was about to be disconnected. I didn’t bother listening any further. A few days earlier, my husband had the exact same call and hung up straight away because he thought it was a dodgy scam.

Today, about quarter of an hour after I got a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk saying there was a problem with my internet and asking if I was online, I told them to take me off their list. I've since blocked both numbers as it just felt like a scam to me!
