As soon as I picked up they just hung up! Drives me mad not being able to tell them what I really think. I’ve got zero interest in their calls, they’d be better off finding a real job.

Like the person before me said, this showed up as a local call so it was a bit tricky to just brush off. All I caught was part of a voice message, might’ve been recorded, saying all their reps were tied up and to ring back later at another number. I just decided to hang up and ignore it.

The number popped up as local but turns out they’re actually from somewhere else. It’s some company trying to check if you’ve ever worked in noisy places without any ear protection. Best to just give it a miss.

I picked up thinking it was someone local. They began with something about an industrial injury assessment or some such thing. Then, they went on about being in a loud workplace and mentioned having my info. It felt like they were just trying to fish for details, so I ended the call.
