Whenever I ring back, I get some recorded message about "Save you Money" and how all their advisors are busy, asking me to try again later. Someone called claiming to be from NEO ENERGY, but the number showed up as from Burton upon Trent on my caller ID. I got in touch with NEO ENERGY through their official site, and the rep I spoke to said they didn’t know anything about a call centre in Burton upon Trent. She’s checking with her bosses now, so hopefully I’ll get an email update soon. My advice? Don’t answer and just block the number straight away.

I asked him straight up which firm he was representing and told him I didn’t recognise the name and wondered why they’d be getting in touch since I’m not one of their customers. Next thing, he just ended the call. I reckon if I hadn’t been sceptical, he might’ve asked for my bank info or something dodgy like that.
