Tried using 1572 to block the number but it just wouldn't work. Got a message from 1572 saying it couldn't register the number, yet when I used 1471, it got through no problem. Bit odd, really!

got a call from some automated american woman saying shes with the uk gov and that hmrc had a warrant out for me because of tax evasion. never had that one thrown at me! figured it was a scam trying to nail my bank details to “sort the debt” with hmrc, so i blocked the number, 1572.
