Definitely a scammer calling. Wouldn’t trust this number for a second.

This number rang me three times just today (thankfully my phone's blocklist stopped them automatically). I did pick up one call about a week back and they claimed to be from O2. I immediately knew something was off because the area code was nowhere near Slough, where O2’s offices are, so I just ended the call straight away. They definitely weren’t genuine.

I received a call purporting to be from O2 regarding a contract offer, yet I’m merely on a pay-as-you-go plan. The person on the line seemed rather clueless, even asking me how many gigabytes of data I’m allotted monthly. Clearly, this is a fraudulent attempt. I strongly advise against sharing any personal details with such callers. Stay safe!

So this caller said they were from O2 and wanted me to switch to a contract sim, saying it would cost less than my current pay as you go deal. Luckily, I'm quite happy with what I've got right now. Funny thing is, they had to ask me how much data I typically use each month - I mean, if they really were O2, they’d already have that info!

The caller said they were from o2 but it wasn’t legit. I ended the call and later called o2 myself to double-check, and they told me it definitely wasn’t their number.

I received a call from someone claiming to represent O2, and they bombarded me with a barrage of probing questions. Then, to my astonishment, they requested my bank details. I didn't hesitate to tell him where to go - what a cheeky plonker!

Number: 01282969674 Location: Burnley, UK Date: 15th September 2020 Times: 10:32 & 17:01 SPAM CALL Totally silent when I first answered, then a lady came on with a really thick Indian accent saying she was from O2. She was asking if I was happy with my current contract and claimed she could get me a better deal. I just ended the call straight away!
